یک زن 30 ساله هندی بعد از اینکه عاشق یک مار کبری شد، با آن ازدواج کرد.به گزارش پارس ناز این عروس هندی به نام عاقله گفته است : ‌به رغم این که مارها صحبت نمی‌کنند یا نمی‌فهمند، اما ما به طور منحصر به فردی باهم تفاهم داریم! وی افزود : هر وقت که برایش شیر می‌گذارم فورا برای نوشیدنش از تپه‌ای که درآنجا زندگی می‌کند، خارج می‌شود. این مار هرگز من را نیش نزده است.

در مراسم ازدواج این زوج 2000 نفر شرکت داشتند، چراکه هندی‌ ها معتقدند شرکت در چنین مراسم ازدواجی می‌تواند برای روستای آنها خوش‌شانسی بیاورد. این مراسم عروسی در بوبانسور مرکز ایالت اوریسا در شرق هند برگزار شد.ازدواج میان انسان‌ها و موجودات زنده دیگر امری شایع و معمول درهند است و اخیرا یک دختر قبیله نشین با سگی در نزدیکی بوبانسور ازدواج کرد.
